I had a problem like this, a few years ago. My problem was, as far as I remember, was the programme or the Computer, did not know which name / family to put into the Chart.
This was because I had 2 Trees, many, or most of the names being in both Trees. I had to get rid of one Tree & as merging did not work well, had to re input a considerable number of families into the Tree which I retained. Perhaps having both the Free & Deluxe confuses the Computer. Now, I must point out, I am No expert ! Here goes again. I began this year using the free version of Legacy and then purchased the Deluxe version. In both versions I have trouble with charting. I start by choosing the style I want and then the computer freezes. Does any one else have this problem, or should I be asking for advice from Legacy itself?
