Nadine,

I suspect that your stepchild is only linked to you husband and needs to be
linked to your husband and yourself as parents. It is perfectly in order for
a child to have more than one set of parents.

Click the child's Parent Icon and add yourself and husband as "link to
existing parents". You may then like to right click on the child and and
select "Step" as the relationship to yourself - I'm not sure if that is
there by default, if not then just add it.

You will find the the child will appear (correctly) twice in some reports
and charts, being attached to two families.

I need help with charting.  My father passed away this week and the funeral
is Saturday.  I was working on a Legacy chart of his descendants.  My
stepson doesn't show up even though my dad counted him as his grandchild.
Anyway I can include step children in the chart or just insert a blank box
where I can type the info?  I really need help today so I can print it for
the funeral.
