Need help. My grandparents came from Croatia in 1892 and their last name was KUCAN. My father was born in 1897 and was baptized with the last name KUCAN. 1900 census and the 1903 death records of his mother the name was spelled KUCHAN. 1907 the name was now spelled KUTCHEN and that is the spelling used today.
In Legacy I have my father parents listed as KUCAN and under AKA I have KUCHAN and KUTCHEN. When I list my father as their child I used the spelling KUTCHEN and under AKA I list KUCAN and KUCHAN is this correct or should I list him under his birth name KUCAN and under AKA KUCHAN AND KUTCHEN.
