Ron,

The reason is precisely that given in the answer to Sylvia's question ie. to
make finding a location very easy when viewing the Location List - it then
reads, Country, County, Town, Parish, Street (using English location style).

One can change the name order should you wish using Options>Customise>Dates,
but I choose not to - I use the English format.
