There are 2 points which come to my mind when I read this.  The first is
that when I save a file I try and give it a name which will make it
immediately recognizable to me, so I would probably know from looking at
the file name to which of five James Smiths the picture was to be
attached.

Secondly, I never start from the picture when attaching them to people,
I start from the Individual's Picture Gallery, the Event or the Source,
depending on what picture I was wanting to attach.

So instead of saying "I've got this picture, where can I attach it?" I
am saying "Have I got a picture to attach to this person/event/source?"
which strikes me as a much more sensible approach, but like so many
other aspects of Legacy, it's all a matter of personal choice and what
suits one may be avoided at all costs by another.
