There are 2 points which come to my mind when I read this. The first is that when I save a file I try and give it a name which will make it immediately recognizable to me, so I would probably know from looking at the file name to which of five James Smiths the picture was to be attached. Secondly, I never start from the picture when attaching them to people, I start from the Individual's Picture Gallery, the Event or the Source, depending on what picture I was wanting to attach. So instead of saying "I've got this picture, where can I attach it?" I am saying "Have I got a picture to attach to this person/event/source?" which strikes me as a much more sensible approach, but like so many other aspects of Legacy, it's all a matter of personal choice and what suits one may be avoided at all costs by another. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
