We added the "Add a Basic Style Source" to the top of the list in the
SourceWriter so you could have easy access to adding this type of source if you
wanted to. The other route is to change the options in Options > Customize.

Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Adding New Master Source

Walts' question and some of the responses have left me puzzled and
questioning the SourceWriter System.

I am using the Legacy Deluxe Edition version 7.0.0.109. Under the Options >
Customize > Sources Tab, I have selected the "SourceWriter System" as the
default. Whenever, I want create a new Source, the list of Source Types on
the left window has the following at ther very top *Add Basic Style Source.
When I select that Source Type the Basic Source System opens and allows me
to enter a Basic Source.

The point of confusion in the question, is that even though I have the
SourceWriter set as the default, it will allow me to enter a Basic Source
should I want to.

Doesn't all Legacy Deluxe programs (of the same version) work the same?

Forgive me if I sound clueless, I am relatively new and learning Legacy
also.

Charles

Subject: [LegacyUG] Adding New Master Source

In the past, when I added a new master source, I had the option of choosing
the basic or the sourcewriter. Now for some reason it automaticly takes me
to the sourcewriter instead of having the option. Sometimes I like using
the basic source. How do I get back to having the option? Thanks.

Walt
