You are looking at the default picture location. I believe this setting is global ... in other words there is only one default picture location that applies to all family files. You don't need to reset this every time you open a file. What I would do is set the default picture location to D:\genprogpics\. Then I would open Sage.fdb and try to access a picture. If Legacy tells you it cannot find the picture, tell Legacy that you wish to browse for the picture. Then navigate to D:\genprogpics\Sage\ and choose the picture. Once you do this, Legacy will be able to find all the other Sage pictures automatically. Then I would open Copeland.fdb and try to access a picture. If Legacy tells you it cannot find the picture, tell Legacy that you wish to browse for the picture. Then navigate to D:\genprogpics\Copeland\ and choose the picture. Again, once you do this, Legacy will be able to find all the other Copeland pictures automatically. -- Dennis Kowallek (LTools) http://zippersoftware.com/ltools http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ltools Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
