The Legacy database is not designed for this. Since others have responded by pointing you to the Event clipboard, I need to point out that this creates an entirely new *copy* of the event. However, if you need to make a change, you will have to make that change in every *copy*. You may or may not be able to use Search & Replace to mitigate the amount of work this involves. I hade assumed from your mention of "cut and paste" (I think you meant "copy and paste") that you were already using the various clipboards. -- Dennis Kowallek (LTools) http://zippersoftware.com/ltools http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ltools Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
