Thanks all for the advice. I kinda cheated when I split the family off in the first place (didn't use tagging, just exported his ancestors and their families), so I didn't have it tagged, but there wasn't a whole lot to his family, so I just deleted one by one. Took a little while but it was fine in the end. Just got my LFT training CDs, set 2, so I was learning about tagging just after I did the split :) Dawn D in NJ
