Paul, Whether it is reasonable or not rather depends on whether you have backed up your Legacy data elsewhere. If not and you delete your Legacy data folder you will also loose all your data, so back-up to a usb drive, CD or the web.
You may also like to save all your .USR files elsewhere as these contain your settings. As I have said before, I do not know Windows7, but if I had the Legacy folder left after the upgrade I would just download and install Legacy, and I would only consider deleting the folder if I hit a problem - you also need to uninstall and reinstall Legcy as well. Others with more knowledge of Windows7 might like to comment. I did a "clean install" (not an in-place upgrade) to Windows7 from Vista. A clean install is supposed to basically wipe out your hard drive and give you a 'clean' system with just Windows on it, on which you then proceed to reload applications and data. The install did exactly that, except for the C:\Legacy folder. I expected it to be be wiped out totally, but it's still there with what looks like the data files, but the Legacy application is gone.
