This happened to me as well when I did a clean install to Win7 x64 from Vista x64. Not entirely sure why it left the C:\Legacy folder, but it did.
Since I had already backed up everything on a separate drive, I just reinstalled Legacy normally to its default (C:\Legacy), and it installed without a hitch. I still had to tell it where my data files were located, but everything worked perfectly, and all my settings remained intact. So I'd recommend doing that, after you confirm you have all your Legacy stuff backed up in case it doesn't go as smoothly for you... :-) Mark Friday, January 29, 2010, 12:49:55 AM, Paul Gray wrote: Something just happened that I was not expecting. I did a "clean install" (not an in-place upgrade) to Windows7 from Vista. A clean install is supposed to basically wipe out your hard drive and give you a 'clean' system with just Windows on it, on which you then proceed to reload applications and data. The install did exactly that, except for the C:\Legacy folder. I expected it to be be wiped out totally, but it's still there with what looks like the data files, but the Legacy application is gone. Absolutely no other 'non Windows' files or folders were retained. I know this is really more a Windows question than a Legacy question, but has this happened to anyone else? Also, since I'm not sure what is there and what isn't, I intend to delete the C:\Legacy folder before I re-download the application and restore my data from backups. Does this sound reasonable?
