Lionel,

I too was unfamiliar with the pop-up boxes.  However, if you go into
Options --> Customize --> General Tab, look in the right hand side of the
window.  You have the option to allow a pop up box to open .  Mine was
turned off until I read this message thread and I just turned it on.  It's
pretty cool!

To all those saying that their popup box is squished,  right now I'm on a
Net book with a 10 inch screen.  I've got Legacy maximixed to full screen
and the popup box is definitely readible.  It's not squished at all.
