Jennifer, by now you are probably beginning to think that you did something stupid and obvious to mess up your settings, as no one else seems to be experiencing what you describe. But as I indicated in my earlier response to your inquiry, I am seeing the same behavior. I don't know when I first noticed it but when I did I just assumed I had inadvertently changed something and would deal with it 'later'. But when you pointed it out, I tried but could not seem to correct it. Changing fonts did not effect it. Resetting to default settings did not change it. But after playing around with it for a while this afternoon, I've discovered that the behavior seems to be related to the program opening in a maximized window. That is, when you launch Legacy, if it opens in a maximized state (which it will do, I believe, if it were maximized when it was last closed), then the pop-up boxes appear 'squished'. But if you then click on the Restore Down button in the upper right corner of the program window, the pop-up box returns to displaying properly. And if you then maximize the window again the pop-up boxes will continue to display properly - until the next time you open the program (if it were still maximized when you closed it). ----- Original Message ----- From: Beverly Walker<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, February 16, 2010 11:07 AM Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Pop up boxes squished
Jennifer, go into the small writing at the very top of your screen -, called OPTIONS; then CUSOMIZE; then go into the FONTS search bar - you can customize all your FONTS - I have mine sent as ARIAL because it is sans-serif - or doesn't have any end strokes. It is very basic. I suspect this is the default as I haven't changed it because I don't know how to.
