I wasn't arguing for changing it necessarily, but at least a warning
that 'Hey, are you sure this applies to the 15 events attached to John
Doe?" would be nice. I've read the help, and there are times when I
wasn't ready to grasp what was written there until a later time. I'm
sure the first dozen times I used the 3-bar I didn't have any events,
after that I had the hang of what that button did (or so I thought)
and merrily went along making a mess of my data. No help file is
going to prevent this. UI needs to be more intuitive.

I can see the how the 3-bar is helpful in entering new people, and
someone threw out a census with a slew of kids on it as a scenario.
So, in that case you could even add a Census and/or residence event in
that case and blurt to all at once. Fine, I can even benefit from
that now. What I still don't understand is how it is helpful beyond
this point. 'This point' being defined as some details including
events have already been entered and sourced. Comments along the
lines of 'it's my most used feature' or 'I use it all the time' etc
imply you are still using it in this second scenario. If scenario 1
was a 1900 census, and now you have found a 1910 census with a slew of
kids, how does adding the new source to the 1900 Census and/or
residence help you?

Basically I'm wondering if you do in fact make use of the 3-bar button
when you already have existing events on an individual. If so, in
what sort of scenario(s) does this make sense to do so?
