Michael, No, that is incorrect. Only yesterday Geoff, yet again, stated that the increased functionality which Family Search will make available to the general public, ie. non-LDS members, will be available in due course. That is when Family Search are satisfied that it is properly debugged etc.. The current phase should be regarded as a Beta test. At that time some, but not the confidential LDS Members section, will be available in the Legacy Program.
At the present time the facility is only of use to LDS members. And, know it is not yet known when the general section will be availbale. Their IGI is currently available through Legacy.
