I think since it's already a Legacy file you can just open it from within
Legacy.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Import .zip File Problem

Hi Folks,

Got an IMPORT PROBLEM (at least I think it's an import problem).

I upgraded my mother's Legacy 4.0 to the free version of Legacy 7 with
no problems (she doesn't need, or want, all the "bells and whistles").
And of course, her old files were converted to Legacy 7, and they, too,
opened perfectly. YIPPEE!

Since I wanted her to have my most recent data and pix, I took my latest
Legacy7 back up file (a .zip file) and tried to import it to my mother's
free Legacy7. I should use the IMPORT command right? since I want to
import my backup to her Legac7.

However, I consistently received a pop-up message, saying that Legacy
was looking for a .fdb file. But the backup is a .zip file! The Import
Wizard didn't help. Manual import didn't help.

I tried clicking, then moving my backup.zip file and releasing it over
the Legacy icon, but again, got the pop-up that Legacy is looking for an
.fdb file.

What the heck am I don't wrong?

What do I need to do to import my backup .zip file to my mother's Legacy7?

In advance, thanks much for your help!
