Don't forget, there's Child-Status as well as Relationship to Mother and 
Relationship to Father.  Before we had Relationship indicators I added a Child 
Status that said something like Adopted by Fred Nerk (as the case may be) which 
I used when a child was adopted by just one parent, as opposed to both when I 
used the ready supplied Adopted.

I guess this is a feature that was added with one of the recent
updates.  You can't have one child-parent status listed as adopted,
without specifying the relationship to the other parent.
