Joy,

I will also have to agree with Joy and Jenny in that you don't need to create a
sentence in the override tab.

For greater flexibility, I created an event and named it Military. The sentence
structure is [EventName]: [Desc], [Date], [Place].[Sources] [Notes]. I must
admit that like Connie, I generally only use the [Sources] and [Notes] fields,
however, the other fields are there just in case I need to use them.

I am not aware of a problem that this has caused, however, like yourself I am
rather new to Legacy also and am learning more each day, with the help of
experienced people in this User Group.

Good Morning,

I am new to legacy deluxe and I am wondering what is the best way to enter WWI
adn WWII draft registration cards. When using the Military event, the sentance
does not come out quite right.

I have a feeling that I am going to need to create a new event, but before I
reinvent the wheel, I thought I would get an outside opinion.

Thanks for your help.

Joy
