Yes, but the event name will print, and the source citation number will print
after the event name and before the note, instead of after it.  And, wouldn't
one have to put the date as the first item in the note in order to see it and
be able to easily sort the events in chronological order?

Using the [Notes] [Sources] override and entering a date in the date field, I
am able to produce a "clean" chronological narrative (the following example is
4 events with 4 separate sources):

"Bennett has not been located on the 1790 U.S. census, suggesting he was still
living in Virginia at that time.  (There are no surviving 1790 census schedules
for Virginia).[1]

He may be the Bennett Hancock who was living in Morgan, Wilkes Co., North
Carolina at the time of the 1800 census.  This enumeration suggests a birth
year between 1756 and 1774, and that he had two sons and five daughters.[2]

He may also be the Bennett Hancock who resided in 1810 in Eddyville, Caldwell
Co., Kentucky, as the sole individual in his household. [3]

The only other Hancock residing in Caldwell Co. in 1810, also in Eddyville, was
John Hancock, whose household included 2 males age 16-25 and 1 female, age
16-25.  Could John and the unnamed male be Bennett's sons? [4]"

I'm sure this is a minor, insignificant difference for many, but as one who
hates "canned" narratives, I prefer to use the sentence override.
