No, this is a perfectly appropriate topic for the list, IMO. You are asking for help in using Legacy. Source detail can be used for multiple individuals, so it is appropriately designed, IMO. The master source and the source detail are about the source record, not the person. However, you can always make an enhancement request via the Legacy website. However, if you find it confusing, I would not maximize the source detail window; if you leave it medium sized (sorry, I can't remember the technical term if there is one) you can position the source detail window so you can still see the individual for whom you are editing the detail.
