Jim:

According to _Evidence Explained_ by Elizabeth Shown Mills, a website is the
equivalent of a book and the URL, therefore, is entered in the field for the
publisher's information.

Personally I have trouble wrapping my head around this concept, and I know a
lot of people list the URL as the repository, but Mills' approach does work in
producing a properly formatted citation in Legacy.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Sources that are Web-Sites

Many current sources are viewed as web-sites, rather than traditional
paper documents. Where would I put the URL of the web-site into the
Source. In another product. which also did not have an obvious place to
put this information, I put the URL into the MEDIA field. I can see the
MEDIA field in the GEDCOM that I used to move my database into Legacy,
but I cannot see where the contents of the MEDIA field are represented
in my Legacy database.
