I don't think that it is possible to make the married name invisible, and
would suggest that you put this forward as an enhancement option. I wouldn't
say it is a bug because it is an alternative name, and one which a woman
usually has much longer than her maiden name!

With respect to your comment on editing PDFs, that is not something which I
expect you ever to see in Legacy. The PDF format is owned by Adobe and their
rights
are very jealously retained by them.
