Brett pointed out that there is an option on the Marriage Information screen where you can choose:
0-None - don't generate married names 1-Replace wife's surname with husband's surname as an additional entry in Index View When you change from one to the other choice, the Rule Change box appears which asks: Do you want this change to be the default for all future marriages that you add? I am assuming that when you choose "No" that this is the only married name that will not be listed. I am certainly hoping that is so!! Also, I think that for any couple, also on the Marriage Information screen, clicking the button "Change" next to Wife's (or Husband's) married name would accomplish the same result. I can change either name to whatever and so could enter the wife's maiden (or any other) name as the married name. Brett's idea was the key to discovery. The list succeeds again!
