I want to import and merge a GEDCOM with my Legacy family file, but the author of the GEDCOM did not format the places uniformly. Some contain the county, some don't, some contain the word "county;" Some abbreviate the state, some write it out, etc., etc.
Is there a tool where I can edit the GEDCOM before or after it is imported and merged to format the places uniformly, without having to go one by one? Thanks in advance.
