Hi Tim, "What if Great Grandfather did not live in that 'County' you just combined or ? Historical Counties change. Cities changed Counties Historically."
It is simple - you make the locations read what you want them to read. There's nothing forcing you to make any changes that you don't want. In the Master Location list there is a box for "show people". Tick that, and you'll get a list of people who are using that location. This means you can check the entries before making any changes, if you want.
