I see now what that earlier thread about Legacy arrogance was about.
Clearly Mike, Legacy is not a Document Management System, but why should it not
be a complete package? Why should there not be a add-on or companion program
which neatly ties the management of genealogical documents to the base program
which maintains the genealogical information gleaned from them. Who wouldn’t
want a program which simplified the maintenance of the thousands of documents
we accumulate. And Ron, if you are worried about the cost, as a companion
program, you wouldn’t have to buy it!
Personally, I just want Legacy to be the best package in the world. How's that
for arrogance?

David

Mike,

That is one of the "problems" we see over and over with many users of Legacy.
They want the Legacy software to be able to handle the functions of multiple
software packages each costing considerably more than what the Legacy software
costs. And then, they complain that it is a shortcoming of Legacy.

But, Legacy is *NOT* a Document Management System! It's for entering and
maintaining genealogical information into a database.
