I don't completely understand your point.  I have a family history and
am entering date for several DIFFERENT fields for DIFFERENT
individuals, some of whom already exists in my database, some of whom
already have the same fields filled in from previous sources and some
don't.  It makes no sense to enter the data to accommodate the tool,
nor to tag the individuals several different times and several
different ways to accommodate the tool, when a simpler solution is
just as I have been suggesting -- add a choice to add new source to
only fields that are filled in and not already sourced.  It makes more
sense for the tool to accommodate the user's needs.

If we are failing to communicate, please supply an example of what you
are trying to illustrate.  Thank you.
