Amy: If you have two or more siblings and want to show their relationship, you have to have at least one parent to connect them to but you don't need both. If the father is unknown you can use just the surname and leave the given name blank (or enter Unknown). If you know the father but not the mother, you can still enter the children. You can leave the mother's name blank or use one of the many conventions that people have invented for these situations (Unknown, [--?--], Wife of John Doe, etc.) It depends on how you want your reports to read. Just take care: If you later find the mother's name, be sure that when you enter it she shows as the mother of the children and not a second wife and *step*mother of the children.
