I don't want to violate the rules either and get kicked off the list, but I just want to mention one thing that perhaps many of us might be overlooking. In a lot of email client programs and I think web-based also, there are features to set up REPLY strings as certain colors of text. This, by itself, has nothing to do with whether something is received in plain text format or not (ie - you might not be able to tell by whether there is a colored font involved). Correct me if I'm wrong or correspond off-line. --Jerry
