<<You will have to point to the database file and multimedia files within Legacy on each machine.>>
I would think that Legacy keeps the location of the Data and Multimedia files in one of the files with the same filename as the data file. There are filenames ending with things like TC, FSD, RC3. These files keep things like Legacy program settings. If that is the case, then each computer will know the location from those non-data files. Dropbox could be located differently on each computer, but legacy only cares about the location on the current computer. Dropbox does not have the backup, but the working Legacy file. If you used a backup that saved all the helper files, then there would be a problem and everything would have to be identical in each machine so that the helper files would be the same.
