ha ha, Tim, you're so funny! A crippled version? Yep, that's exactly what it is though. I think they call it 'limited', not crippled though. I think it's the 'library version' technically but yes, it is less than what we would like to see. My FHC has a volunteer there 99% of the time who has a personal subscription and will sign on and help you look for something if you need help but it is not available for general searches. You'd think ancestry.com would want to give the FHCs total access so people could go there and check it out and then buy a new subscription. Maybe even a discount for signing up through an FHC account? It would benefit both. But no, that isn't a good marketing strategy I guess. Almost everyone would rather have home access if they can afford it at all and not everyone lives so close to FHCs like I do. Silly Ancestry.com! Kathy
