Subject: [LegacyUG] Your suggestions would be appreciated

Good morning:

I have a situation and I am wondering if anyone have any suggestions on how
I might resolve it.

This is the situation:

I have many John Grants in my ancestry and as you can imagine it is not easy
working out who is who.

How I resolved it.
This is how names have been entered

John (Duldraeggan) Grant
John (1st of Corriemony) Grant
John (6th of Glenmoriston ) (Ian a Chragain) Grant
John (Mor) (1st of Glenmoriston) Grant

This is only a small sampling but will give you the idea.

My question.

If I were to comply with the program's wish to remove all but "John Grant"
and put the rest under
"AKA" is there any way that I can make up a list of all the AKA's so that I
can quickly find the
the correct John Grant I might be looking for? Using a wife's name doesn't
work very well.

Thanks

Joyce Nagy
