that may be what they are telling you is happening but it is NOT what is actually happening. They are NOT being transcribed twice and no one appears to be arbitrating any differences. They are not using people who KNOW the handwriting and the language to transcribe and arbitrate, so they are so full of mistakes. When it became available, I started checking records against those that a group of us had already transcribed and OVER 90% were incorrectly transcribed. I was told that they would eventually correct the problems and that I could submit corrections BUT ONLY ONE DOCUMENT PER EMAIL. Well when you have 50 entries per page and NOT ONE was totally correct, it would take too long to send in all of the corrections necessary to correct just the first page of entries. Instead they kept trying to get me to transcribe for them
