Then make it an OPTION that web developers can choose if they so desire! Not everyone is a web developer; some of us just want to be able to read what we write!

It has now been restored. Which ever way these specified fields work it makes no difference to the final output (ie reports etc.) but does allows web developers to see what they have done. Although it is not a facility which I use, meaning I do not format these fields, I can see the value of it being displayed for those who do.
