If you want to assign particular numbers to particular people you will
have to either renumber them one at a time or assign UserIDs.  RINs are
assigned incrementally as you add each new person to the database so the
numbers probably won't bear much, if any, relationship to whereabout on
the tree a person resides.


If you do as Sherry advises it WILL renumber all your RINs.  You say you
don't have any missing, but obviously if you only have 1500 people but
your RINs all have at least 10 digits the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 .....
are missing!  If you do what Sherry says you will have RINs from 1 to 1500.
