I agree, that's why I've gone with my second option. In that case I'd enter www.genealogybank.com in the URL field, and in the field that defaults to "online database" or "online archives", I'd edit it to say "GenealogyBank online archives". You only enter it once **per** newspaper in this case.
One thing I don't like is the generated footnote takes out my capitalization, rendering "genealogybank online database".
