Thanks so much Kathy.

I will try what you suggested.

No, you can't do that. Another answer was sent, probably as you were typing
this. Your best bet is to take that advice and use your events for this
purpose. Or even as a source. For instance, you can use a general source
(anything from 'obituary' to 'chicago times obituaries' -- whatever you use as
general or as specific as suits your purposes). Once you choose your master
source, use the source detail area to transcribe the entire obit or portions
that you choose. Then attach that scan image in the multimedia section of the
source detail.

That's what I would do. Additionally, I could create an event of 'obituary'
and do basically the same as above.

Then you can copy each to their respective clipboards and attach those to all
of the people that are mentioned in that obit to show that you have found them
or verified them as relations.

That's brief, but you probably understand and if not, just ask another
question :-) Kathy

    Thanks Kathy for your answer.

I wish to Scan a newpaper Obituary and put it directly into the General
Notes Section fo an Individual.

Is there a way to do this, and if so, could you tell me how, in easy
simple steps ?

    Thank You !

You can copy/paste things into Notes. But I imagine you are asking about
something else. Are you asking if you can insert an image of an obituary (for
instance) into notes? Kathy
