When you run a report, you can go into options and have the reports use either the long or short location name. Also in customize, you can also have either displayed in the program windows. long form is the default in both. I usually use the short form when doing pedigree charts...long names have a tendency to get cut off, especially when doing a 5 or 6 generation chart.
