Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Using Source Clipboard

I can't find the posts that asked to remove or change this
functionality. I think there are some changes that can enhance the
functionality, changes that might prevent one from corrupting their
database.
- Moving buttons a bit (as has been mentioned)
- When events exist in the list, present a warning message to the user
they will be updated, perhaps listing several/all event names
- Make said warning a configurable option that can be turned off (you
know, a 'don't show me this again' sort of option)

- Something more drastic, but would get more mileage out of the 3-bar
button, is to add a checkboxes beside each vital event, and every
event in the list. When using the 3-bar, it will only update the
checked items. (This could be done with a secondary window to choose
items instead I suppose.) If none are checked, perhaps default to all
as it is now.

All these maintain the current functionality, but really make it clear
that 'Hey! You are about to touch many pieces of YOUR data. Are you
sure?' before just doing it. That's what I had in mind when I posted
previously anyway.
