Brian,

I have just tried using Search>Detailed Search for with Include Married name
and Include AKA set to ON. The search *only* returned those with either an
AKA or a Married Name. As I never use the include settings I never have a
problem with the date order.

And it's now time for a swift scotch and bed!!

The problem report on the sorting when AKAs are turned on in the Index
tab or in the Name List is still outstanding. I just tested using the
Sample file and the sorting by DOB is NOT used when AKAs are turned on.
