Paula, ... or you could open the source that you want it to be like and then edit the contents to what the new source is then when you click on the save button it will ask you if you want to apply the changes to the existing source or to a new source. Russ

Here's something I noticed over the weekend: If you want to add a new source that is similar to one you already have set up, but don't remember which of the many options you selected when you set that one up (a problem I've run into... and can keep you from combining later if you need to)... Highlight the existing source (that you want to simulate), then click on "Add"... SourceWriter has all the correct options already selected for you. I'm sure this could apply to whichever "custom" template you've generated for your own purposes. --Paula in Texas Researching: Adair Baker Beasley Benson Betz Bigley Blagrave Burton Chapman Clement Clough Coppernoll Costine Daulton Dinwiddie Doody Ellis Exline Field Floran Floyd Gates Goodale Gordon Gump Hale Harbaugh Hind Hopkins Hughes Hurdle Jones Klein Koyle Laswell McDonald Misner Passwaters Pelton Roberts Roche Ryburn Short Singer Sullivan Weller Williams Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
