Changing the state abbreviations can be done by going to Options >
Expand/Contract Location Parts.... as long as you have the locations
formatted correctly in Legacy with commas for missing elements in the
locations.

If you have a lot of locations you wish to change from Co. to county,
then you would do a Search > Search and Replace

Find where:  Lists- Location
Find what:    co.
Replacement text:   county

How to find:  Anywhere in field
How to replace:  Replace only found text with replacement text.

MAKE SURE you verify each replacement because it could pick up "co."
from something like     Mexico.


"County" should only be included in locations which do not have a town
associated with them.... i.e.,


Seattle, King, Washington, United States

, King County, Washington, United States
