If they can't choose/manage a proper listserver why don't they do like everybody else, use either yahoogroups or googlegroups? They follow standards, generates proper threads and require little, if any, maintenance. And are very easy to set up. They even have a web interface, allowing subscribers to view messages and archives online on the web. Very few run their own listservers nowadays. > Don't hold your breath waiting for a fix. Too bad. I generally prefer mailing-lists vs forums, but I don't know how long I'll stand having to "delete a mailing-list" every time I receive a message. > > -- > > Dennis Kowallek (LTools/Custom Programming) > http://zippersoftware.com/ltools/index.htm > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ltools > > NOTE TO LUG USERS: Use plain text if you want me to read your post. > > > Legacy User Group guidelines: > http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp > Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: > http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ > Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: > http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ > Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp > Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on > our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com). > To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp > > > -- Bjørn K Nilssen - [email protected] - 3D and panoramas Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
