Bravo Simon! As a fellow lurker I’m sure you’ve said what myself and many others on this list are thinking. You nailed it from start to finish. As I always tell myself when this type of posting starts, when this list is good... it’s very good. When it’s bad... It’s HORRID! Back to lurking.

I will point out: 1. When people like Bjorn and Dennis, (who have more technical skills than most on this list, and most of Millennia) tell you there is a problem, they should be listened to. Attacking them will not fix the problem. 2. To be counting Bjorn's post ratio on the subject is petty. 3. To claim they are the only people with a problem and should shut up is wrong. Any customer service expert will tell you that for every 1 that complains there are many that will simply walk away. 4. To claim "it works for me, so it's not a problem" is very myopic. 5. The offices of SmarterMail are only a short drive from Millennia. Perhaps parochial interests blurred the decision making. 6. Claims that people should put up with problems on the list because it's a free gift are wrong. The mailing list is one of Millennia's marketing resources, and part of what you pay for when you buy Legacy. Bjorn, I don't think this problem is going to get fixed, you should probably just live with it. I don't think Millennia have the technical skills necessary to evaluate alternatives. Considering the amount of silly bugs introduced in the last two updates, they are struggling just to keep the product stable. Good luck.
