Tony,
I've been doing a variation of what you do and I got hung up on the same
issues.  It seems strange to look for an unmarried adult under his/her
parents' MRIN to find hard copies of documents and photos.
The idea of moving the files when a child marries makes sense if one is
using the MRIN and isn't too difficult in small families.

We are still left with the second marriage and/or newly discovered
marriage problems and I haven't thought of a good solution. Hope someone
else has suggestions.
