Kathy, No problem, I had saved one of the posts in my email folder. You SHOULD be able to do what you described. What I had originally sent her had spaces in the "Options > Customise" --- I thought that was the problem, but I just searched on "Options>Customise" with no spaces and NADA. Then I tried "Family Search"........ found the thread on page 7. Would be nice if the archive search results were sorted most recent first...? (I can never really detect sort orders in those sorts of results lists & don't know what it would take to force a sort order, though.) --Paula

Nice of you to go the extra mile (or ten) on helping with this. I've never used the archives but this is great information because I would have thought you could enter a 'part' of the subject, like, "Family Search" and come up with a plethora of related threads. I usually archive interesting threads, or at least part of it, in my gmail and file it under 'Legacy User Group' or 'Legacy FS'. That way I can go back and do a search for the term and it will show me the emails with that term. Now I know that it is mandatory to do that so I have the entire subject line to copy/paste into the search box of the archives. Very important information for us to know!
