OK, I can buy that I have to save the new individual before starting to add
events. However, why is there an "Add another" button on the events screen if I
cannot use it before saving that event? The "Add another" button doesn't even
display until I begin adding an event...

Anyway, this runtime happens even when I'm adding events to well-established
individuals, i.e., not just added and saved the minute before.

event before you add another event you are creating the runtime error because
there is no record because you did not save the first record and event. You
should save the first event before you create another event. By not saving you
are expecting the other to be “stored” in the computer memory while you add
another, etc.
