I transcribe the census with all of the persons listed. I don't add the unknown persons into my database though until I am able to make the connection of who they are. I definitely want to see their name on the transcription or I would never be able to make the connection.

Later she married one of those boarders who would then be my great grandfather albeit by marriage. Her deceased husband was my biological great grandfather. At least in this case, it was beneficial to have recorded all household members including boarders.
