This all sounds fairly normal, apart from not being able to download from the
Legacy Home tab. When you install over the top of an existing version, there is
no reason to enter your customer number, neither is there any need to enter a
password. If you need to enter the customer number, then it will be asked for
during installation. Since you have previously installed, the number is already
there.

I get this sometimes. I think it's a Windows/7 thing. Just tell Windows that it
installed perfectly and forget it.
