Thanks, Ron.  I don't generally, but I'm starting to do some research for a
friend, and I don't know how "deep" it will go or how long I will work on it.
 Just tried to enter the 3 generations I know to get a skeleton family file and
ran into this "snag" first thing--!

Paula,

May I counsel against using the Child Status in this way i.e. to show
child-parent relationship. The reason being that should you wish to use the
Privacy Controls not to show, say step or adoption, you could at some stage hit
problems.
